Dr. Gary Weber has done over 30,000 hours of meditation and yoga with various teachers in various disciplines and traditions. He has two daughters and two grandchildren and authored “Happiness Beyond Thought: A Practical Guide to Awakening”, “Dancing Beyond Thought: Bhagavad Gita Verses and Dialogues for Awakening”, “Into the Stillness: Dialogues on Awakening Beyond Thought” (with Rich Doyle), and “Evolving Beyond Thought: Updating Your Brain’s Software”.

Wrote several articles in Indian quarterlies and a paper, “A creative and insightful cognitive neuroscience approach for understanding the effects of contemplative training on pleasure and the ‘gossip of the ego’” with K MacLlean in Religion, Brain and Behavior (2014).

Gary was a subject and/or consultant in cognitive neuroscience and meditation studies at Baumann Institute, Institute of Noetic Studies, Center for the Study of Non-Symbolic Consciousness, Yale and Penn State.
